Most scissors taper as they get closer to the tips. The Dragon maintains its thickness and weight all the way to the tips. This new geometric weight balanced blade design provides excellent power and leverage when cutting wet or dry hair. This results in a powerful scissor with less overall weight and bulk.

When performing palm to palm cutting, the concave outer edge allows the Dragon to fit comfortably against your fingers while maintaining a perfect 90 degree angle to the hair. I love the Hikari Dragon Cosmos, having used Hikari scissors for close to twenty years I cannot function without Hikaris in my hand when cutting. The new Dragon Cosmos are unlike any scisssor I have ever worked with, they make me smile with every cut wet or dry.
The new geometrically angled blade gives me incredible precision when cutting wet or dry hair. My interns stare at the precision with their mouths open at times stating that it is not fair that they cannot achieve such precision when they are cutting with their scissors. The outside angle of the blade makes the scissor feel as though it is an extension of my hand when cutting palm to palm.

Every time I use these scissors I think, "Why didn't I get these sooner?". They are worth every penny. I love them, and they make my cosmos feel puny, they are so powerful. The screw cover is a little flashy, but you can take it off so whatever.
I almost always cut dry and I feel like I'm sculpting every time I use them. It is so easy to achieve a textured, soft, and even a razored look with them. Whatever I can imagine in my head to do with hair, these scissors can achieve.
The new funnel shaped finger holes keeps me from contorting myself in awkward positions to get the angle I want.

LOVE THEM, LOVE THEM, LOVE THEM!!!! I have just recently had to send my Dragon Cosmos in for servicing, so while they were gone I had to use my 113 and Beam.
